The Genics Story

In 1981, Genics was founded as a utility service provider, testing the structural integrity of wooden poles, and treating these assets to prevent degradation caused by decay and insects. Since then, the company has grown into an industry leading manufacturer of wood preservatives and fire retardants. While still maintaining a primary focus on manufacturing products for utility poles, Genics has expanded its scope to provide treatment products for railways, log homes, residential and commercial construction.

Genics’ prides itself as a global pioneer in the wood preservation industry, offering the most innovative, effective, and environmentally friendly product portfolio on the market.  Through the research and development department and inspection services division, Genics stays in tune with the ever changing needs of the wood industry.
